OUR PROCESS
Every step is guided by care, expertise, and respect for nature.

01 Tea Fields
Our journey begins in the tea fields of Japan, where carefully cultivated tea plants are grown with patience and attention before every harvest.

02 Shade Grown
Before harvest, the tea plants are shaded to naturally develop richer umami, gentle sweetness, and their vibrant green color.

03 Harvest
Harvested at peak freshness, the youngest tea leaves are carefully gathered to preserve their delicate aroma and natural sweetness.

04 Quality Selection
Each harvest is carefully inspected before processing. Only tea leaves that meet our standards for quality, balance, and character continue the journey to become RINSUI matcha.

05 Steaming
Fresh leaves are steamed shortly after harvest to preserve their vibrant color, delicate aroma, and fresh character before drying.

06 Final Milling
After careful processing, the selected tencha are milled into an exceptionally fine powder. This final step helps preserve the matcha’s vibrant color, delicate aroma, and signature smooth mouthfeel.
